6 Years!

It feels like the other day I just hit my 5-year mark, haha.
I've come a long way and have ever longer to go down.

That sentiment aside, I've pretty much finished my new lil picture series I've just called "Infinite Overcast" cuz of what influenced it. If you follow my tumblr you'll see that I've been posting some practice stuff I've been doing, and if you dig back in the archives you'll see I actually finished my PKMN A DAY series too. 

Pokemon Beta Chapter 8 is goin' pretty aight. Got close to missing the update last Saturday because of lightning destroying my internet, lol, but it's back now...though every other night it suddenly cuts off.
My summer classes have been finished thankfully, (a month early at that cuz I wanted August to myself) but guess what! ....I won't be taking any classes during this fall because there aren't any for me to take. Yeeaaahh the program I'm in is a bit limited on the special classes (I only have 3 left danggit) so I cross my fingers in that they will be available in the Spring. Which is the worst case scenario for me tbh. But ah well. College'll be done when it's done.


In the mean time I've filled up my (or will be filling) fall period with more studying, and hopefully get back onto my graphic noir-ish novel, called No Ones Face. I've finished 2 chapters, and it was 5 chapters long but I think I'm gunna reduce it to 4 as one chapter doesn't do much at all for the story. Which is bad, haha. I've been lazy about reworking the script though... >_>"
I want to get it done this year, and that's still very possible. That is, if I work my butt off at it every day haha. (Which I would be prone/want to do)
I'm at a point now that making comics has become a lot easier to understand. More fluid. Which is great. Am I perfect? heeeck no. My art quality dips when making pages because of all that needs to be done. Looking even at the current beta pages I'm seeing all these flaws in the perspective, character proportions/consistency, among other things. But I can see I'm getting better at telling things with the pictures. 

In gaming news I've picked up Puzzle & Dragons Z + P&D Mario- really fun game, though it's clearly written for a younger audience probably half my age. But I dig it. I've just been playing the P&D Z game and while the story and characters aren't stand-outs (actually quite a bit generic) it feels like a pokemon/digimon spin off in a few ways xD 
It's a good thing. The people who do the writing for it are at the very least aware this is a silly sort of game to make serious and it has a nice light hearted tone. It's really great to have such a not-srs game to pick up and play.
Meanwhile Final Fantasy Type-0 has just been sitting there, lol. I wish I could pause the world in order to spend time playing that. If they'd released it on the PSP here I would have more ability to, bah.
